Afternoon Tea // Lobby Lounge – Conrad Centennial

Upcoming post – Conrad Afternoon High Tea 2017

Her first Afternoon Tea on July was at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore – Bar and Alfresco. She liked it very much.
I brought her to another Afternoon Tea spot this time. Conrad Singapore – Lobby Lounge. They serve a wider spread of food on Saturday and Sunday. Whereas standard Traditional Afternoon Tea served with 3 Tier dessert stand will only be available on weekdays.

Tea served are Ronnefeldt. The best part is – you can change your flavor of tea and drink as many pot as you wish. Food-wise, it’s semi lunch Buffet for weekends. Scroll down for pictures. I have left out some images, cos it’s blur…

Reason why Conrad Afternoon Tea is always my favorite because it is always relaxing walking into the lobby. Lobby Lounge greets me with their beautiful setup of tables and chairs. Seems very furniture were placed specifically for my comfort. Another point being, people having Afternoon Tea are absolutely non intrusive and they simply indulge in their quiet merry moments.
If you’re looking for a quiet spot for your afternoon, check Conrad Lobby Lounge out.

Overall, croissants and Quiche are tasty. As for the pastry section, I would consider their scones disappointing as it is one of the highlight in Afternoon Tea. Miss HB tried all the pastries while I already went for my third round of food.

Interestingly, Asian cooked food section are pretty good. Salmon, duck meat and satay are good addition to my plate. Since their pastries were not to my liking.

This siew mai is a worthy mention. Given this is an Afternoon Tea session. It tasted pretty decent! They manage to provide a dim sum item which i find it really thoughtful (for me). Another must try item would be Double Boiled Chicken Herbal Soup. (No image)

Miss HB preferred Four Seasons instead of Conrad. I like Conrad.
Next Afternoon Session // Fullerton Bay (Miss HB gave bad review on Fullerton Bay and Fullerton Courtyard) – The Landing Point or Regent – Tea Lounge.

Weekend Afternoon session at Conrad Lobby Lounge will cost $45++. In total, it is $52.65 per person.
